Gerald asked in an earlier post what the sign might be, luckily I had shot it but not used it yet.
Bike thieves, and worse vandals... Wind me up - I have lost a bike or two, I now have a rule that I never spend more than a £1000 on a bike - it's so difficult to insure them.

Nony, no - not a chance. But £1000 seems to be a point where bikes are serious.
I bought a MTB for £1050 over 5 years ago and it is still going strong so it works out quite reasonably.
A true shame that people are out there to steal and vandalize your property.
I don't think I'd pay a grand for a bike. About £150 is about right.
