This Blackbird was sat eating berries quite nonchalantly.
I think, and I really am no bird expert, that he is quite old - maybe he just couldn't find the energy to fly away? I think he has some sort of Tick or other parasite on his throat?

Very pretty, black against red. I hope the bird was not sick and was going to be OK and that the parasite, if there was one, wasn't hurting it.
